Well we found what we were looking for, a purple California Crosstop. Actually, its not quite what we were looking for. We rode this line in 2005 and found most of a Purple Cal Crosstop, but that pole was still about 800 feet further down the tracks. We came back out today to see if we could find the rest of the glass for it and found this one instead. They are the only two crosstops that we have discovered on this long stretch of track and they were on poles only 800 feet apart. Kind of crazy.
