Offered today is this light blue aqua script Hemi No 9.The colour is light and leans more towards light blue, but there is just a hint of green to it. These are the earliest Hemi No 9's being made between mid 1893-1895 before Hemingray switched to Prismic embossing. This one has the extra large drip points, which of course have some damage. Damage consists of....3-4 flaked drip tips, an almost invisible fan bruise which has removed 2 drips/small NGM stable crack stemming from said base bruise, and a BB induced fisheye near HE in HEMINGRAY.The damage sounds bad, but really isn't as awful as it sounds, especially considering this dude has been around close to 114 years! Displays very nicely. This is a duplicate to one in my collection. $25 + $7 shipping. Want more pix? Just mail me. |
