Old style Hemingray G embossing.

Here we have the old style G,missing the horizontal bar but with a tiny tail. These are the type that were used on the script, prismic embossing AND for odd reasons, some of the newer production pieces. The newer CD's I have personally seen with old style G's are 113,115, 128,154,155,230,AND...these pieces are all mould dated 1941.Any ideas as to why only 1941 mould had this revisit to script style embossing? I am posting pic of the New style G next....
