Five small beauties from Russia and Belarus (Byelorussia). The dark cobalt blue CD 570 (?) has the small shoulder HEMAH embossing (got this long before the seller from Belarus made his e-place appearance), the green one is a small Maltsov (CD 547 ?), the light blue-aqua with the deep cable top groove is a DBZ // No. 6, ДБЗ // №6 with two decorative "spearpoints" on either side of the front embossing . the other two insulators are not embossed. The tealy one is probably a CD 568.3, I am not sure of the others. Update July 4, 2010: It is now known (many thanks to Chris Tella) that the embossing D.B.Z.ДБЗ №1 stands for Donetsk Bottle Factory (Donetsk Butilka Zavod), which was located in Donetsk, Ukraine, also known for its coal mining and other heavy industry. |
