I won't be back for many a day. That's Calypso Music, Mon. Harry Belafonte, Mon!!! I know, I know, Harry who??? Calypso what, Mon. I'm too old, you're too young, and now, everyone is leaving, going home. Another show is over It looks like the wrap-up of another fun show. Thanks to everyone that attended. Vi Brown and Reid Ryder are packing up late Sunday afternoon. Vi has a 5 hour drive ahead of her, and Reid is 10+ hours from a warm bed in Edmonton. Both will be back in Merritt Sept 8-9, and we are so looking forward to their return. Under the heading of "Small World" Check out the "Bill Ray" pilot truck center background. Bill now lives in Merritt came to visit with Aidan Morgan at the Insulator show. Bill and I were both in the Fort Langley Fire Hall at one time, and neither of us was aware the other had moved to and currently lived in Merritt. Bill is not an insulator collector, so he was quite "blown away" at the sight of a 0ne acre field with 5,000 insulators of all descriptions, and all the folks that collect them. |
