Pictured here are two CD 151 dome embossed Brookfield/New York. Didn't have one in my collection so I purchesed the one all the way to the left. It was waiting for me on my door step when I returned home from a hunt with the the 151 in the center of my pic. This one was still on the cross arm in a small stream or brook. I took my work boots off and retrieved it. Got a little cut on my foot that I noticed a day or so later. Not that I didn't feel anything when it happened. Guess my excitement allowed me to feel it too much though. The last insulator on the right is a CD 145 AM Insulator co. This was not found on the same day as the CD 151's. It appears to be just another common insulator on the pole. Look at the next pic and you'll see there is nothing common about this one. Someone must have squeezed to hard with the tungs while the glass was still molten. That would be my guess anyway. What do you think? |
