c.1910 Little Falls, NY railroad Telegraph Lines on Hill

This photo was taken around 1910 and shows a RR line cut through what was probably a lot of ledge. An accompanying telegraph line followed this line but it traversed high along a ridge as you can see to the left. For you folks out there seeking insulators (and how/where the telegraph lines typically ran) this is a rather good example to keep in mind. I have no idea what this trackage scene looks like today. At the time it was owned by the West Shore Railroad folks. You NY State and area folks who like scratching around might find this photo valuble as clues to where the "old stuff" was actually used. Note the "hut" also up on the hill to the left. Possibly for telegraph line maintenence?
