These were both found on railroads. Old ones, like thread less era. We even found a peacock (large colorful bird) on the one where we got the insulator on the left from. Here we are ridin our bikes and i am trying to figure out why i keep seeing poles on both sides of the line. Then out of nowhere there's a lone pole with a couple power insulators on it. This one was dangling on the wire above a fence. To bad it's orangish counterpart was busted. Further down there was another random pole loaded with strains and stuff but it was on the other side of the line, strange. I should have looked closer at that one but i didn't. It's stamped with P.P. and i assume that stands for porcelain products. Weird color for one made by them huh. The other was found On the rails-trails line of Hilliard Ohio, just 1000000 miles down from that. It's an Illinois product with a 1927 date code. sweet |
