CD 128 from Sinai Desert

Here's a rare one that "walked" into the OVIC show in Perth, Ontario, a few weeks ago.

It is a CD 128, with the (possibly) Arabic embossing. It has since been cleaned up and looks a bit better than it does in this picture.

The owner said he had got it in a box of porcelain insulators a friend brought him. The tape label was already on it, saying Sinai Desert as the original location it came from.

It has a chip on the base, but I picked it up at a very reasonable price. The original GIFONA book talks about there only being one example of this known, in a sage green. The later GIFONA price guide lists it in straw and sage green.
