Dutch and I headed North this weekend towards the Portola area of California. The second antique shop we stopped at. . . was the stores opening day. Dutch went inside while I stayed behind with Bonnie Collie. A few mintues go by then I hear Dutch calling from the shops door 'Hey, she has insulators in here!' Bonnie and I figured the usual Hemi 42's and 45's so we took our time walking up sniffing several trees as we went. . . well. . . there were the usual Hemi 42's and 45's for ten bucks each. . . along with the Lynchburg CD 112 in yellow green and the Hemingray CD 164 in jade milk glass also for ten bucks each! Bonnie collie and I let out a howl and paid the lady 20 bucks for these two! Lucky Dog ^..^ PS-next picture is what Bonnie Collie and I found a few hours later for 3 bucks at another shop. Not an earth stopper but a pretty cool brass topped OB U-2751A boat anchor! |
