These classic unembossed 145s continue to be some of the insulators defining of Canada's colourful telegraph history. There are not too many beehive shaped insulators available in the beautiful light amber/straw/yellow shades that these "Golden Boys" from north of the 49th occur in!

This particular piece is a beautiful light peach that absolutely shines in any window. This is a HEAVY insulator! That's the other thing Canadian insulators tend to be - extraordinarily heavy! This example also has an odd 2" long, thin, white bubble running from the front dome down into the sirt just below the wire groove.

It's in good shape, the only damage appearing to be a couple small fisheyes on the front (or rear?) skirt. One 3/16" cresent ping below the wire groove on the left side, and another one even lighter and smaller, 1/8" in diameter, on the front skirt. A good condition example of a shining golden beauty!

I'm asking $20 U.S. plus shipping for this excelling example! I accept personal cheques from any member of ICON, or anyone I've dealt with before.

All the best!
