I just got in my collection what must be the smallest gingerbread around! This tiny insulator is only 5 cm (2 inches) in height, and is actually the smallest pin type insulator I have with an inner skirt. I put it on my finger for the photo, and just look at the difference in size compared to the gingerbread man. If one insulator deserves to be called cute, it must be this one, don't you think!?

It is interesting to note that the French precaution about the tie wire getting loose, which is the reason for the arms, also was implemented on such tiny insulators!
