As you can see, this insulator has cracks and bruises all around it, but the insteresting part is, there is not even the slightest piece of glass missing from it. It would be dead mint if not for all the cracks. What could cause this? Lightning? Stress? Extreme temp change? (Pic was taken underwater with a flash, causing white flash mark towards left.)
