The AT&T marked toll seems to be far more common in certain areas of the country. I never found an AM TEL marked toll in the first ten years of collecting I did around Seattle, but found plenty of AT&T's.

While the AM TEL tolls appear to be made by just about every mf'r. there was, the AT&T jobs look to all be Brookfields. As such, colors are much more limited to the BF spectrum. This specimen represents the best one I ever had the good fortune to find in the green family. There are two distinct mould profiles with these, this being the more rounded dome variant.
