This "insulator" is a lesson learned - and that is never leave home without your books!!

Found at a local Value Village, I thought I'd found a Wade insert (would have been the first one I've ever seen) disguised as an "Egyptian Drinking Glass". The glass is very crude & bubbly, and doesn't even stand up correctly, but when I got it home and went through my book, the $*%&@ thing was three inches too tall to be *any kind* of an insert for an old insulator, Wade or otherwise. :(

O well... looks like I got myself an antique drinking glass, complete with open pontil. :-O I'm glad I only paid three bucks for it.
