I have been watching the Hemingray pieces and have noticed a track record with just about any clear 113,106,128,&155 made in the 1941 dated mould, these all have been embossed with early hand done script embossing instead of the newer, commonly used prismic embossing. Why Hemingray went back to an obsolete and outdated embossing style for just one mould year is very well unknown? But they did. Note the old style G that has a tail rather than the bar. All embossing is larger, and while neat, you can tell it was hand done. Embossed in big bold hand letters on rear is C.S.C. While these script pieces are not rare, they are kind of uncommon in comparison to the newer embossing styled pieces. If you specialize in embossing styles and variants, this one will be a nice unusual addition to your collection. Insulator is VVNM to mint condition. $4 + $7 shipping.
