Left: A strange color which I've called "light steelflower". It isn't steel blue, and it isn't quite light cornflower either. Only two of these are known to exist in Washington State collections. I have one, and Paul Ziemer has the other one. They were picked off a section of line outside of Washtucna, WA. about five years ago. Thanks Paul! Center: An Am. Insul. Co. beehive in a very pretty, Windex-like blue. I picked this interesting piece up at a show earlier this year. Right: A lightning rod insulator in a pretty light aqua. It was once covered in layer upon layer of silver paint. :-O |
