UPDATE: Both these items have been SOLD. Here's a Brookfield pair sure to stir some interest. Beehive in a lovely olive-amber, really a two or three tone piece that passes enough light in a windowsill to really glow. I'd call the condition pretty nice, too, especially for one of these deep groovers; what may be a 3/4" fracture from base, or it could be some graphite stuff in glass, either way no big deal, and a few tiny nibble inside outer skirt, tiny paperthin, and common to these, but much more severe in many cases, $40. Next, a "Compromise" style insulator, classic concave skirt and flat dometop, [050] embossing, I see a 1/4" or so flake at bottom side, and another very near same place at base. These aren't serious, and certainly don't distract in a normal display as you wouldn't see them. $25, add $5 each postage. |
