A Borgo No 2205 (CD 380), similar to, and in fact, the predecessor of, the Fidenza No 2205.

This one was produced sometime netween 1926-1928. Even further back, the company was Folembray (of France) in Italy. This one is in about as perfect condition as I have ever seen. I have the Fidenza 2205, now this Borgo 2205, I wonder if there was a Folembray 2205?

These insulators were used on an old Italian railroad line SPOLETO-NORCIA, constructed in 1926 and dismantled in 1968.
