Here's a great example of a rarely seen insulator that is way underrated. I nearly missed this gem today while picking up common signals when the sharp teeth came into view. Comes in an attractive Dark Aqua and a small STAR. As is the norm with these, many of the drips are flaked and a few are underpoured. Pinky flake (seen in photo) and a small peck included.

These are rarely offered and this was the first I've seen in person except in an NIA show display. I couldn't even find a photo of one of these on ICON photo gallery! Great piece for the Star Specialist! First email gets this for only $40 plus shipping. Thanks Denny! Sold in 19 minutes!

It was brought to my attention that the CD 162 Star is not listed in the Price Guide, but as you see in my photo the skirt definitely flares out. But does it flare enough? It is probably closer in dimensions to a straight sided 161 than a flared 162. Now if only the elderly woman who passed away had noted where in Oregon she found this while antiquing!
