Today was another great day for hunting. It makes up for those where I returned empty handed. Here I'v got a bunch of Stars ( there one of my favorite insulators other then Brookfield) a couple B's. My bag was getting a bit heavy for the walk back to my truck. The only problem today was explaining to a farmer what I was up to. I had just arrived in the area and looked back and saw him standing on the tracks watching me. Of course he was worried about trasspassers on his property. I explained that I don't go on other folks property on invited. He wondered and asked it the railroad minded me doing what I was doing. I hated lieing to him by saying no one ever bothered me. I did come close to being arrested once. But he didn't really need that info. He seemed more assured however when I told him I grew up in the area and that my school bus actually came down the road I was on. A little name dropping also had a good calming effect. It should be obvious that there was no further troble for me today. The rest was good and as you'll see in the next pic it only got better!!
