About three years ago, I found the partial insulator you see here, but it has always stood tall and is displayed in my collection as an all-time favorite find. The railroad on which I found it in southern Colorado, was built in 1876, the year of Colorado's statehood, and of Custer's Last Stand at the Battle of the Little Bighorn. It's rails were removed some 70 years ago, it goes withouth saying you won't find any Armstrong's or 42's, and upon a return trip, or one of many, I'm hope to find a whole one this color, and probably won't give up on this plan till I do.
