The CD 162 shown here has the handwritten style of lettering including PETTICOAT on reverse, I have no idea as to whether or not it may be what is known as transition embossing, but it's unusual. Some drip damage here, 7-8 mostly partial, so it really doesn't look bad at all for $10. The little 106 also has handwritten type embossing, but Hemingray is extremely large,, -2- in date is real fancy, and the last digit in the year could be construed as a 9 or 8 or who knows what instead of the normaal 3, due to re-engraving of mold. I have owned a good number of these 106's, but this is the only example of this I have ever seen. Just one damaged drip plus an small bruised area of three with no glass missing, overall very nice for $30, add $5 postage. -UPDATE- CD 106 SOLD. |
