Photo taken one town north of coastal Wells, ME following-up my previous photo submission (on 03/09/07, Wells, ME) within this folder. This line apparently ran along the present US Route 1 and this image likely was taken in the center of Kennebunk, ME circa 1900-1910 looking North. This New England Telephone & Telegraph Co. toll route connected Portland, ME (and points north) with Boston and New York City at the time.
