Not much to say about this one, short of that it is absolutely AMAZING! For your consideration is a [030] Brookfield CD 102 with sharp drips, in dome/mould number '16', and with a... an... unusually plentiful quantity of amber strewn throughout! It looks like an entire beer bottle went into this piece! The amber is strewn completely throughout the piece, so that, from a distance, it appears solid olive green, but upon closer examination, especially in a light box, the swirls are so well defined that they jump out at you.... and plentiful... I couldn't use that word enough to describe how many swirls dart throughout this piece like a darter throughout an NEGM 267.5. Unfortunately my photography skills simply can not do the trick in properly expressing the gorgeous nature of this beast. I have many more photographs if you are interested. The damage is mostly limited to the drips, as is usual for these. There is but one flake off the wire groove - a 1/4" wide flake above the "LD" in the embossing, and on the lower wire ridge. If you look carefully in the photo, you might be able to make it out. Short of that chip, there are 6 flaked drip points, and one 1" wide arc crack just behind the right mould line, as well as a smaller, 1/2" arc crack below the "LD" in the embossing. Once again, my thorough description of the damage makes it sound worse than it is. I'm asking $40.00 U.S. plus shipping for this beauty! It would look amazing in any pony line up in a lighted display shelf, or a window alike. You will not be dissatisfied with this piece! I accept personal cheques from any member of ICON, or anyone I've dealt with in the past. Feel free to email me for more photos! All the best! |
