Today took form of a very nice 70 degree day, so I took advantage of that to take my 3 year old son on an impromptu insulator hunt on an old unused trackbed area. This was the first hunt of his life, and these are the gems he himself found. He found 10 total,3 HG beehives,1 ~147 spiral groove, a Hemi 40,and 5 Hemi 42's,one hemi blue and clear. Although I had spotted em first, I let him hunt em up out of the weeds with a little guidance, and once he found them, what a joyful expression lit his face! I guess it's never too early to start!
