Very hard-to-find early Hemingray pony type. The insulator is kind of scarce, but in this color (or lack thereof) it is quite rare. It is a little battered, and priced accordingly. From the front, you can see a bruise behind the emb'g. On the side there is a clean vertical crack to the lower wire groove. On the back, the drips are pretty bunged up and a fat, clean slice runs from the base to the lower wire groove. Sounds bad, but it displays reasonably well. IN 40+ years of collecting I can count the number of these I have seen on one hand and have a few fingers left over. Could use a little soot cleaned off the skirt to make it look even more clear. Color shows a little darker than it really is. $55 post paid.
