Several years ago I sold this insulator for more than two thousand dollars. I bought it back in a collection and it was sporting a price tag of $2750. I took it to a few shows and my show price was $2200. Interest but no sale. So now I`m really discounting this super rare CD 204. First a description. The embossing on the skirt is F. M. LOCKE& Co VICTOR. N.Y. over PATD MAY 22 1894. There is a small chip on the top wire groove ridge. The real damage is a vertical that begins on the top of the skirt on one side, travels up and over the dome and down to the top of the skirt on the other side. That crack, as bad as it sounds, has been stable for years and that insulator has traveled a good many miles since it joined the insulator hobby. My price is $1500 delivered.
