Maydwell insulators were produced in the 1930-40s from McLaughlin molds by the Crystallite Products Corp. after McLaughlin Glass Co. stop making insulators. For such modern era glass, it is very unusual to find any type of defects. Recently found this light yellow CD 162 slumper on the left which is compared to your standard MAYDWELL-19 on the right. The base is wavy with the grill lines and squished drips. $20 plus actual postage gets this oddity to your door. |
