The SS Red Oak Victory is a WWII cargo ship now being restored at the old Keiser Shipyard in Richmond, Ca. This is a shot of the radio equipment in the communication center. Note the insulators above the bank of equipment. They are secured to the ceiling. I`ve seen pieces like this for sale many times and have handled many over the years. This is the first time I`ve actually seen them in service.
