My only mission as I left the house this morning was to drop the kids at Karate, grab a vacumm belt and return home to help with a little spring house cleaning. How was I to know that since last having to make a run for vacumn parts (more than a year ago) that a little used this & that shop had opened next to it. After getting the belt, (1st things 1st) I figured I'd take a quick look inside. Always the 1st question off my lips when trying to speed things up is: got any glass insulators? After a quick, No, haven't had any of those in quite awhile, I turned to leave and spotted these 5 little guys sitting in a window thru a half closed door, leading to what looked like the storage room. She seemed surprised when I asked about them, as though she had no idea what they were. I couldn't resist her price of 75 cents each, just to see if there might be something under all that rusty, dirty mess. This is what they looked like just before I spent 25 minutes cleaning them in the kitchen sink. Take a look at the next pic for the final results.
