On a tip that crews were back out working on the CSX, had to take a little road trip to check it out. Right where the tip led me was one huge pile of poles and a smaller pile of poles. These are the last of the local pieces we have admired for so many years. Took this photo about 10:30 today. Checked out some more of the line only to find what was there a month ago is now all gone. Got back to this site at 2:00 and the crew had loaded just about 90% on trucks to haul away. Since these had been freshly cut in the last couple days, the arms were still loaded and hadn't been picked thru. Got a few smooth base 42's, some Lynchburg's, Hemi 21's, B beehives, Kerr's, Continental R-4's, and a couple butterscotch porcelains.
