Not sure of the precise where and when but I know from my files that this was taken somewhere out West in a remote area where a digger/dercick truck would have been extremely difficult to access. The utility pole hole obviously was hand-dug (the old fashioned way!) with aircraft taking care of the rest of the job in setting it.
