I believe this was taken somewhere in Canada, very probably in the 1890's. Upon closer inspection and investigation I believe the building on the right was owned by Bell Telephone of Canada. Note the "open" style arc light on the left and the utility pole that's on the right next to the brick building. Not many insulators in plain view with this particular photo but I trust you will enjoy the excellent old-time view!
