Here is a true Sapphire Blue Hemingray CD 162 in the tougher [230] embossing. This piece has a bright deep color that is clearly not Cobalt Blue. The large amount of dome glass makes this piece look great when backlit. The worst damage is an inside base flake reaching about 3/8" up the skirt affecting 7 drips. Also a 1/2" triangular chip to the outside of the base. Total of about 14-15 drips damaged. Other than the base damage, there are only 2-3 pinpricks. Truly a stunning color with a book value of $700-800 for VNM. I finally found an upgrade, so I am selling this piece for quite a bit less than it cost me. My price is $300 plus actual shipping.
