I'm not sure when this photo was taken but it looks like c. 1900. I do know that it was in southeastern Massachusetts and during the horse and buggy days! Included with this photo are close-up photos of a man behind the "reign" of his horse and buggy (see Detail photos at the bottom). On the right is a close-up of a circa 1890-1910 gooseneck street light (likely Wheeler Reflector Co. according to Joe Maurath, Jr.) and with what looks like a nice porcelain enameled telephone sign on the far left.
