Haha! I really do wish. No, instead of milk glass insulators to feast your eyes upon this evening, I've got a pair of those classic C.P.R. beehives that antique dealers in Ontario love to tell you are worth hundreds, and are incredibly rare! Well, in actuality, they're not that tough to find, but they're not around like they used to be, either. The green ink-stamped piece on the left is a true white, with only one little 1/4" BB on the rear crown. I've heard these pieces are Czech in origin, and date from the 1920s or so. The incused piece on the right is an off-white shade, with an unglazed pinhole, and damage consisting of a little bit of base nibbling on the rear, one 1/2" by 1/2" flat flake on the rear skirt (spreading from the base), and one 1/8" fleabite on the front upper wire ridge.. It's my understanding that these pieces were made by Pittsburgh, but please do not quote me on that. Considering the usual asking price of all those antique dealers, mine should seem quite reasonable! I'm asking $8 U.S. plus shipping for this duo bearing the mark of one of the most famous railroads of all time. If you're a railfan, these are a must! I accept personal cheques from any member of ICON, or anyone I've dealt with before. All the best!
