A piece which I can not pontificate much on (as though I know anything), unfortunately, as they are not found in my neck of the woods, and I'm not terribly familiar with them myself. This is the C.N.R. small embossing, or index [010] in the McDougald's guide with the STANDARD embossing on the rear. It's a lovely light aqua shade, and it's in reasonable condition, with just a bit of chipping on the C and N embossing on the front skirt, a pair of iron wire scratches 1/4" and 1/8" long respectively on the right mould line, and a little ding which may be an open bubble on the rear base, measuring just 3/16" by 3/16". I'm asking $5 U.S. plus shipping for this unusual (to me) piece of western Canadian telegraph history! I accept personal cheques from any member of ICON, or anyone I've dealt with before. All the best! |
