This piece is milky-looking from its interior right through its outer surface. In fact it has so many zillions of micro-micro bubbles (that give it its milky appearance) that the insulator's surface feels and looks like satin. I got this one in the mid 90's from one of Ray Kilingensmith's auctions and have absolutely loved it ever since :-)
