This is just a sample of how HBMS used to tie their line wire to the insulators. The HBMS linemen were not and are still not allowed to do hotwork, so when an insulator was tied in, loops were made on the ends of the tie wire so that it could be untied using a hot stick allowing the insulator to be changed hot without the lineman making any contact with the live line.
