I was told that this was one of the few aqua pieces to get a fake carnival coating and the result was unsatisfactory. I stripped the fake coating off of this insulator and it was actually clear. I'm not sure what was done to give it a bluish tint. Anyway, it has been restored to it's natural self, and has found a new home.
