In a previous color comparison photo of CD 145 NEGMCO beehives I described one that I had recently acquired as emerald green. A fellow ICONer suggested it was instead dark green aqua. In looking at the Spec-tru indexes for emerald green, I agree that this is not a match for any of the glass manufacturers mentioned in the Spec-tru documentation. I would say this color is instead teal green. So what is the difference between dark green aqua and teal green? Or is there one? Anyway, in this line-up of NEGMCO colors I have from left to right: aqua, green aqua, green, emerald green(?), and yellow green. Of course, neither green aqua or even dark green aqua are current listings for NEGMCO beehives. It's definitely not lime green either. I'm very interested in hearing other's opinions. Remember that generic color descriptions cannot always be applied across glass manufacturers. The light sapphire blue CREB beehives, for instance, look nothing like the very vibrant sapphire blue HPET beehives.
