Here's another CD 121 AMTEL out of my toll collection. Its a cool Aqua with Lt Amber swirls. Embossed in bold capital letters: AM.TEL&TEL.Co. Either the mold was rather dirty or else there appears to be an unlisted blot-out underneath. I've seen reverse skirt blot-outs listed but not under primary embossing. This attractive insulator for the toll specialist is EIN 110 (unless this is an unlisted blot-out). Displays VNM+ but has a chip that covers the reverse half of base. Surface of glass has weird "cross hatches" across much of the skirt (not etching). Perhaps this is related to the Denver made molds that are known to have these cross hatch marks? First email gets this for only $30 plus shipping. (book value for VNM is at $125-150). Thanks |
