For your consideration this evening is a scarce (?) Hemingray CD 106 variation. It books at more than $1-2 in the guide, which is enough to signify to me that it's a scarce piece! This is a CD 106 Hemingray in the [080] embossing style - with just HEMINGRAY embossed on the front skirt, and SDP. No "Made in U.S.A.", no patent date, no "No. 9" - Just HEMINGRAY. The embossing is off centre, to boot! There's about 7/8" between the embossing and the left mould line, and less than 1/2" between the right mould line and the embossing. I'm not sure if all from this embossing variety are like this, but it's a slightly more unusual 106 than the type I'm used to seeing. There is also a light amber swathe behind the front wire groove The condition is VVVNM, with just an unnoticeable annealing crack behind the right mould line at the base. Not a single drip is chipped. I'm asking $7 U.S. plus shipping. I accept personal cheques from any member of ICON, or anyone I've dealt with before. All the best! Sold within minutes! |
