Darkened view at sunset... *but* this is the first picture I took of this resurrected fixture and pole that I assembled and "planted" in my side yard for functional use in January 2007. More pix of this cool light will follow, from its basic assembly through when I "threw the switch!" And even more photos from when this classic streetlight saw its beginnings of its second life (a salvage refugee!)...that's now permanently, brilliantly lit every night... perched next to the circa 1780 house right ajacent to it which I bought in 1978 (and will be paid off in 2008 :-)
