In an effort to raise some money for a proposed cross-country road-trip prior to University, I'm going to be putting a thing or two up for sale! Offered for your consideration is this vibrant YELLOW unembossed Canadian CD 145. I'm looking at the piece right now, and in any natural light, it actually sparkles with a rich yellow colouration not frequently encountered in these pieces. The only damage consists of a factory annealing crack a hair's thickness deep in the glass on the rear skirt. It runs from the base to the wire groove. It is visible on the right side of the insulator's skirt in the photo. This is a super-heavy piece of Canadian telegraph history, and despite this, it's superficial beauty also leaves nothing to be desired. The glass is even full of tiny bubbles. I'm asking $40 plus shipping for this classic, colourful Canadian gem. I accept cheques from any member of ICON or anyone with whom I've dealt in the past. All the best! Oh, and if you live in the north-western or north-central states, and you'd be willing to let a group of 4 teenagers set up camp in your backyard for a night, please let me know! Any way we can save money from not having to rent motel rooms all the time. Alright - I'll mark it down to $34 plus shipping for this one. |
