This Insulator there are only about 7 know!!! It is embossed on the front skirt W.U.5 Patent May 2 1893 and on the rear skirt Patent Dec 19 1871 mold letter "B". Along with many other insulator collectors and my self, we think this insulator is very rare as I am a CD 125 collector. Compared to the thousands of CD 162s transition styles, very few CD 125s have been found. These transition styles were used for the addition of drip points to the insulator. There are some chips to the insulator though, on the right side there is a chipping 1 5/8inches by 1 1/16, along with a crack behind the chipping. On the back of the insulator is a chip out of the top part of the wire groove and it measures 3/4 inch long. On the rear skirt there is a chip that measures 9/16 inches at its widest point. There are also two little chips on the front wire groove and a ding on the dome. Not including the chips taking out the drip points, ther are 14 chipped drip points. Other than that the insulator has no other damage. I can send more pictures if needed. The insulator can be displayed nice with just a very slight turn so the the side chips don't show. This is a very rare insulator, I think there are more know Twiggs CD 141.7 than this style of insulator. Even though the insulator does have damage, the chances to finding another one is rare. $130 plus $8.50 for shipping and I can ship worldwide, but it will cost more.
