I bought this effigy a few years back because I really like early native American pottery and also because it is such a very unusual and rare type of effigy to find perfect. The pot is made to resemble a swan or goose, is polychromatic painted, hand made earthen pottery, and very ornate. I was thinking it was Acoma but it may not be. Does anyone know what this might be?Acoma?Mexican?etc...?The piece is old, the patina and wear bespeaks of it's age. Thanks for your help.
