I aquired this five circuit fuse panel a few months back. It was built around 1904-1910. The back piece is marble. This type of assembly would be placed in a wood box lined with 1/8" asbestos board in a wall space with a glass door. It was removed from a motel in Hayward a couple of years age, still working. I found a similar one in a home in Tracy, still functional.
