Unembossed CD 145 insulators known as "Grand Canyon" beehives were once used on the communication lines from Williams, AZ to the Grand Canyon Village. The left half of this photo is an authentic deeper lavender shade. The right half displays one of the varying "purple" shades that are the result of radiation exposure.
